“There is no sincerer love than the love of food.”
-George Bernard Shaw
Sacramento Mobile Foods (SactoMoFo), began in 2011 with very modest ambitions to introduce Sacramento to the fast-growing industry of street food. We’ve been continuing our efforts to promote food trucks and their delicious food ever since – pedal to the food truck metal! SactoMoFo has organized, promoted and managed numerous large scale food truck festivals, and many more intimate recurring community events.
“You don’t need a silver fork to eat good food.”
-Paul Prudhomme

Their tasty food is only the beginning! These small business owners buy local produce, meat and bread products, pay local and state taxes, add affordability and diversity to the emerging food scene, and offer aspiring restaurant owners an entry point into the possibility of the American Dream.
Additionally, food truck owners are heavily vested in their local communities and generously give back. Food trucks working with SactoMoFo raised thousands of dollars for organizations like Front Street Animal Shelter, SMUD Combined Charities programs, Loaves and Fishes, amd Big Brothers Big Sisters. Additionally, many have jumped in to help the Red Cross and other charities during various local disasters including the Napa fires, the Paradise Camp fire, and the floods at the Oroville Dam.
“People who love to eat are always the best people.”
-Julia Child
